Y'all should go over to Mortal Machine and check out the awesome little placeholder image that crows made.

Because it's pretty cool.

Especially when you scroll over it.

(Also, yanno, let us know how it looks on your screens, etc. I haven't loaded it up on the laptop yet, and everything ever is huge on my netbook screen. I have to scroll, but do you? Etc.)

(There is a bug in it we're aware of and working on fixing, also.)

Looks pretty cool to me and I'm on my phone, so yeah. The scroll effect seems to only happen at random, not sure how to control it from the phone, but the image fits on the screen, looks good to me. Will check it out properly when I get home.

Woot! I haven't checked it out on my phone yet either, but my phone is usually pretty good about sizing things appropriately (unlike a netbook screen, ha). Glad it works! Though let me know if the scroll effect is still random at home or if that's a phone thing. :/ It's been working pretty consistently for me, but always good to see what those who don't have access to the back end of things get.

Okay so from my phone I can't get the scrollover to work at all.

Yeah, it's not something I really expected to work on the phone.

Tried it at home, and it works! Though with the exception that sometimes the images black out from a fraction of a second while changing, so instead of a seamless transition from non-lit to lit, you get non-lit, brief flicker of black, lit. I assumed this was loading times, but it happens even after both the images have loaded.

Looks awesome though!

Yeah, mobile sites/phoneternets can be weird. So long as it's not totally broken on the phone (and it doesn't seem to be afaict), mehhh.

Hrm. I did manage to get it to do that after I'd left it alone for a bit. >:/ Unsure how to fix...

...probably not something I need to poke at right now at 1am.
