Okay guys. Photobucket has become nigh-unusable for me with all their latest updates bullshit; I just cannot deal with the interface anymore, or the fact that it takes forever to load each page (no matter what computer or browser I'm using). I need a new photo hosting site.

Things I'm looking for:
- privacy. I do not want my photos to be public. I just want to upload them to a thing, and then be able to link them in posts. I don't want them to be viewable except to those I want to view them, aka you guys.
- useability. I don't need any interface that has a shitton of fancy bells and whistles, I don't need any editing program, I just need a place to dump photos.
- I want it to be as disconnected from social media as possible. I want to control where my shit is, basically.
- I also want to be able to access these photos multiple times, so it can't be any of the anonymous things where you upload a photo so it has an anonymous url but then can't get to it again. :/
- Also, free. I'm broke, mkay, and between spending $ on a photo program and not uploading them at all, I'm just not gonna upload them.

Everything I'm aware of and that (my terrible google-fu) research has shown me is of the "public album whose photos you can link places" or the "private album that your friends must have an account to see" types. I just want a private album that I can use to link to things! :(

Or am I just going to have to figure out my own photo hosting shit at some point, likely when the comic website goes up?

Never mind! Have some space on [personal profile] magistrate's domain for hostystuffs! :D

Is it totally self-centered to post a wishlist, or are there people out there (...I say to the three people who actually read this) that might find that useful?

I can never tell.

YOU GUYS I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION.

IT IS: WHAT THE FUCK SHOULD I DO TO MY HAIR TOMORROW?

1. Leave it alone, aka keep the black sides with the lime green/chartreuse mohawk thing I've got going on.

2. Dye it all Aftermidnight Blue

3. Dye it all Fishbowl

4. Dye the sides Fishbowl/AMB and leave the 'hawk Electric Lizard

5. Dye the sides some color of blue and fade it into the Electric Lizard.

6. Dye the sides some color of blue, the 'hawk EL, and the ends of the 'hawk black (or purple).

7. Cut off the mohawk entirely and go back to having short hair, with weird colors.

8. Some other iteration of cut/color. (Bear in mind that the colors I have available to me are pretty much limited to: blue, turquoise, lime green, dark purple, and black. And...bleach-blonde, but if you suggest I go bleach-blonde, I will probably ignore that suggestion unless its reeeally coercive.)

Bear in mind that even if I get an overwhelming majority for one, I may choose to do another one on a whim anyway because it is MY HEAD but whateverrrr I would like to know what people think.

Can someone explain to me why I'm seeing a cursor on all my non-post-related Dreamwidth pages? I haven't tried any other sites (other than GMail and Twitter -- no cursors) today, so I don't know if its doing it on any other pages, but it's really annoying on DW. Especially since I navigate around my screen primarily with the touchpad scrolling and the arrow scrolling, both of which having a cursor on the screen interacting with said scrolling fucks up.

Did I click a button accidentally? Is this some bullshit the new Firefox update is pulling on webpages with text? Did some bork in Dreamwidth land? D:
